HSP’s overall venue capacity is 200

Main Lobby: Standing Cocktail Reception of 150 guests, Wedding Ceremony of 100 guests. Reading Room: Seated Dinner of 115 guests. Patterson Room (2nd floor): Standing Cocktail Reception of 200 guests, Seated Dinner of 150 guests or 120 guests with a dance floor.

Rental rates vary depending on event type, duration, size, staff needs, and other factors. Please submit an event space inquiry to receive a personalized quote. The rental rate remains the same regardless of the month or time. An inconvenience fee will be charged to close research spaces during normal business hours.
